Step-by-step
  1. Lower the loader to the ground before you grease it because the loader may fall.
  2. Grease the nipples on every pivot pin on both sides of the loader, and the implement carrier and cylinders.
  3. In storage, put a thin layer of grease on the visible piston rods.

Tools: Grease gun, Rag

Check the subframe and loader screws

Mounting · every 50 hours

QD handbook: check the screws are at the specified torque after the first 10 hours and then every 50 hours. The Q330 book says to check after some days of use and then at tractor service time, especially the subframes.

Step-by-step
  1. Check all subframe and loader screws and fasteners to the torque table in your handbook.
  2. The torques are for clean dry threads. Oiled threads can overtighten.

Tools: Torque wrench

Check hoses, cylinders and the tractor hydraulic oil

Hydraulics · every year

Both handbooks say check hoses and connections regularly and the tractor oil level with the loader lowered. No fixed interval is given, so a yearly prompt is used.
