Tools: Torque wrench, Rag

Engine oil and filter change

Engine · every 300 hours or every year

The handbook changes the engine oil and filter at the first 50 hours, then every 300 hours and at least once a year. If the diesel has more than 0.5 % sulphur, halve the interval. The lubricants table says 500 hours (or once a year) but the maintenance chart gives dots every 300 hours; this entry uses the shorter 300 hours.
