Engine oil and filter change

Engine · every 250 hours or every year

Deere's sheet says change the oil and filter after the first 100 hours, then every 250 hours or once a year, whichever comes first. The 375-hour extension needs Plus-50 oil, a John Deere filter and a fuel sulphur level that the sheet words oddly, so check your handbook for that condition before using it.

Known problems

Interval for the oil change in the 375-hour case

Deere's sheet words the fuel sulphur condition for the 375-hour interval in a way that looks like a misprint. Use 250 hours unless your handbook says otherwise.

Not a full service schedule

No 8010 operator's manual was read, so grease points, axle oil and coolant intervals are left for your handbook.

Repair guides

The full step-by-step guides are in Farmyard Workshop once you add your tractor.
