Known problems

Drum brakes need wheel cylinders

The Mule SX and 600/610 use hydraulic drums. Kawasaki asks for wheel cylinders and master cylinder seals every 2 years.

Two front oil sizes

The Mule SX 4x4 front final gear takes 0.35 L but the older Mule 610 takes only 0.2 L. Fill to the bottom of the filler opening.

High altitude

Kawasaki says the belt converter weights need changing by a dealer for use above 1,500 m.
