Lubrication · every 40 hours
The greasing chart has three columns: every day, every 40 hours, every year. The marks read from the screenshot sit in the 40 hour column for depth control cylinders, folding pivot and cylinders, the crank, front control wheel handle screw and arm axis, and the double cage roller. Check the column in your handbook. Machine must be parked with tines on the ground.

Step-by-step
- Park with the tines on the ground to avoid crushing.
- Two squeezes of the grease pump only. If you feel resistance during the second, stop.
- Shorten the intervals for contractor use or very dusty conditions.

Check and retighten bolts, wheel nuts and hub play
General · every year
Kverneland: all bolts to be tightened after the initial period of use, according to the frequency of use, and at least once per season. Wheel nuts and hub clearance regularly. Use only the special screws supplied.
Step-by-step
- Use the torque table (viewer p104). Folding cylinder clevis nut: 360 N.m after the first hours, then yearly to 400 N.m.

Check tine bolts and springs; replace tines
Tines · every year
Check bolt tightness and spring tension over time. Tine attachments to be held at 600 N.m. For Triflex 700: pivot bolt 250 N.m, retaining screw 100 N.m, spring gap 50 cm. Never loosen more than one spring at once. Safety bolt: replace after it has released.

Step-by-step
- Release the retaining screw, free the leaf spring with the tightening screw, remove the pivot screw.
- Fit the new tine, pivot bolt to 250 N.m, retaining screw 100 N.m, grease the clamp screw with copper grease.
- Set the spring gap to 50 cm and check the tine returns without binding.

Clean, grease all points, check bearing clearances and wear parts, then store. Fold and unfold storage positions are in the Unhitching chapter.

Check levelling blade, knife skid and disc wear
Wear parts · when needed
Check regularly and replace the skids before wear can lose the part in the field. After a few hours check the skid screws are still tight. Clean the roller well after use and before storage.

Known problems
Shorten intervals
The manual says all data refers to average use. Contractors or dusty conditions need shorter intervals.
Oils
The manual says unless stated use only vegetable oils such as rapeseed oil. Mineral oils are not suitable.
