1. Stop the engine, take the key out, make sure everything has stopped and support the tailgate.
2. Grease the PTO shaft, the locking hook, the roller on the latch and the pick-up support wheels, on both sides unless the plan marks one side only.
3. Grease the lubricant distributors for the roller and rotor lubrication.
4. Open the tailgate about 50 cm and grease the two tailgate rollers on the lower edge, both sides.
5. Two strokes per nipple. Wipe off the excess.

Tools: Hand-lever grease gun, Rag

1. Clean around the reservoir cap and unscrew it.
2. Top up with clean oil through the filler filter to the Max mark.
3. Look at the strainer in the reservoir for dirt.

Tools: Funnel, Clean oil can, Rag

1. Switch off, take the key out and remove the covers.
2. Slacken the screw connection of the low-noise tensioner, tension until the chain's upper run deflects 13 mm, and retighten.
3. If the tensioner has no travel left, remove one link and use a cranked link if needed.
4. Refit the covers.

Tools: Spanners, Rule

1. Fold the knife unit out and take the knives out as the handbook shows (Chapter 7.6.8).
2. Wear gloves and goggles. Grind one side only, from the smooth side, with light passes and water to keep them cool.
3. Refit the knives. The manual gives no bolt torque here, so check your handbook.

Tools: Wet grinder, Gloves, Safety goggles

1. Remove net and twine remnants from the binding.
2. Grease the moving parts of the net and twine binding, the eyelets, the tailgate cylinder and the pick-up ratchet wheel.
3. Leave the factory adjusting screws alone.

Tools: Grease gun, Rag

1. Park on level ground, stop the engine and make the machine safe.
2. Drain the gearbox, refit the plug, and fill with gear oil to the bottom of the filler hole or the dipstick mark.
3. Check for leaks.

Tools: Drain tray (3 L), Spanners, Funnel

1. Check the tyre pressure for your tyre size (for example 2.0 bar on 19.0/45-17, 1.5 bar on 500/55-20).
2. Check wheel nut torque.
3. Tighten the drawbar bolts to the standard bolt table if not otherwise specified.

Tools: Torque wrench (to 360 N·m), Tyre pressure gauge

1. Grease the three belt arm rollers and the joint to the hydraulic cylinder.
2. Do this before and after any long idle spell.

Tools: Grease gun

1. Park on level ground and take the twine and net out.
2. Clean out twine, net and crop residue.
3. Unplug the operator terminal and store it dry at room temperature.
4. Remove, sharpen and refit the cutter knives.
5. Grease all bearings thoroughly.
6. Lightly oil the press chamber surface with rapeseed oil.
