Service jobs and parts
Grease all nipples
Chassis · every 50 hours
Eurol's oil advisor lists the grease points at 50 hours. Which nipples your tractor has depends on options (front axle, front linkage, loader, cab suspension), so follow the handbook's grease chart.
| Part | Qty | Notes | Part number |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grease | 1 | EP2 grease (check your handbook for the grade). Aztec Oils match: VOLCATEC LITHIUM EP 2 | check your handbook |
Step-by-step
- Wipe each nipple clean before and after greasing.
- Pump grease into each nipple (front axle pivots, steering, linkage, PTO shaft and any suspension) until fresh grease shows.
- Wipe off the surplus so dirt doesn't stick.
Tools: Grease gun, Rags
Engine oil and filter change
Engine · every 500 hours or every year
Eurol's oil advisor (built from the maker's data) gives the engine oil change at 500 hours or 12 months, whichever comes first. Change the filter every time.
| Part | Qty | Notes | Part number |
|---|---|---|---|
| Engine oil | 1 | 15W-40. AGCO Ultra Plus API CK-4 is the oil in AGCO's range for Tier 4 and later engines; ≈16 L. Check your handbook for the grade. Aztec Oils match: EMPROTEC UHPD-X 15W-40 | check your handbook |
| Engine oil filter | 1 | Check your handbook for the filter number (not found for the 5700 M) | check your handbook |
Step-by-step
- Park on level ground, lower implements, stop the engine, take the key out and chock the wheels.
- Warm the engine, stop it and let it stand a few minutes so the oil drains well. Hot oil burns, so wear gloves.
- Put the tray under the sump, remove the plug and drain the oil fully. Refit the plug with a clean seal.
- Remove the old filter and make sure its seal came off with it. Wipe the filter head clean.
- Oil the new seal and fit the filter by hand as marked on it.
- Fill with the right amount of oil, run the engine for a minute, stop it and check the dipstick after a few minutes. Top up to the full mark.
- Check for leaks around the filter and sump plug.
Tools: Drain tray (25 L), Socket for sump plug, Filter wrench, Funnel, Rags, Gloves
