Service jobs and parts

Grease all nipples

Chassis · every 50 hours

Eurol's oil advisor lists the grease points at 50 hours. Which nipples your tractor has depends on options (front axle, front linkage, loader, cab suspension), so follow the handbook's grease chart.

PartQtyNotesPart number
Grease1EP2 grease (check your handbook for the grade). Aztec Oils match: VOLCATEC LITHIUM EP 2check your handbook
Step-by-step
  1. Wipe each nipple clean before and after greasing.
  2. Pump grease into each nipple (front axle pivots, steering, linkage, PTO shaft and any suspension) until fresh grease shows.
  3. Wipe off the surplus so dirt doesn't stick.

Tools: Grease gun, Rags

Engine oil and filter change

Engine · every 500 hours

Eurol's oil advisor (built from the maker's data) gives the engine oil change at 500 hours. Future Farming's first drive of the 7618 also quotes a 500-hour engine service. Change the filter every time.

PartQtyNotesPart number
Engine oil115W-40. AGCO Ultra Plus API CK-4 is the oil in AGCO's range for Tier 4 and later engines; ≈20 L. Check your handbook for the grade. Aztec Oils match: EMPROTEC UHPD-X 15W-40check your handbook

Step-by-step
  1. Park on level ground, lower implements, stop the engine, take the key out and chock the wheels.
  2. Warm the engine, stop it and let it stand a few minutes so the oil drains well. Hot oil burns, so wear gloves.
  3. Put the tray under the sump, remove the plug and drain the oil fully. Refit the plug with a clean seal.
  4. Remove the old filter and make sure its seal came off with it. Wipe the filter head clean.
  5. Oil the new seal and fit the filter by hand as marked on it.
  6. Fill with the right amount of oil, run the engine for a minute, stop it and check the dipstick after a few minutes. Top up to the full mark.
  7. Check for leaks around the filter and sump plug.

Tools: Drain tray (25 L), Socket for sump plug, Filter wrench, Funnel, Rags, Gloves

Front PTO oil change (if fitted)

Driveline · every 500 hours

Eurol's oil advisor gives the front PTO oil change at 500 hours on tractors with a front PTO. The first change is earlier, at 50 hours.

PartQtyNotesPart number
Front PTO oil1≈3.5 L; grade: check your handbookcheck your handbook
Step-by-step
  1. Park on level ground, stop the engine and take the key out.
  2. Remove the drain plug and let the oil run out.
  3. Refit the plug, then fill to the correct level.
  4. Check for leaks.

Tools: Drain tray, Socket set, Funnel, Rags

Front axle differential and hub reduction oil change (4WD)

Front axle · every 1,000 hours

Eurol's oil advisor gives the front differential and the front hub reductions at 1000 hours, with a level check at 500 hours.

PartQtyNotesPart number
Front axle differential oil1≈11–13 L; grade: check your handbook for the grade (not found)check your handbook
Front hub reduction oil (each hub)2≈2–2.4 L each; grade: check your handbookcheck your handbook
Step-by-step
  1. Park on level ground, stop the engine and chock the wheels.
  2. Drain the front differential, then each hub reduction (turn the hub so the plug is at the bottom).
  3. Refit the plugs and refill to the level plug.
  4. Check for leaks after a short drive.

Tools: Drain tray, Socket set, Funnel, Rags

Transmission and hydraulic oil and filter change

Transmission · every 1,500 hours or every 2 years

Eurol's oil advisor gives the transaxle oil change at 1500 hours or 24 months, whichever comes first. Dyna-VT tractors are 2,000 hours or 24 months in Eurol's data, with a separate 100 L hydraulic system (also 2,000 hours or 24 months). The filter goes in with the oil; if your handbook lists the filter more often, add a filter-only job.

Step-by-step
  1. Park on level ground, lower implements, stop the engine and chock the wheels. Warm the oil first so it drains well.
  2. Remove the drain plugs and let the oil run out into a large container.
  3. Fit the new filter and refit the plugs.
  4. Refill through the filler until the dipstick or sight glass shows the right level.
  5. Run the engine and hydraulics through their movements, then recheck the level and look for leaks.

Known problems

Eurol gives no engine interval

Eurol shows the 7620's engine capacity but not the interval; 500 hours comes from Future Farming's 7618 first drive. Confirm in your handbook.

No coolant interval

Eurol gives the 26 L capacity but no coolant change interval for the 7600, so no coolant job is included. Use your handbook.

Dyna-VT filter is an assembly

AGCO's hydraulic filter number 4351313M91 for the 6615/7620/7624 Dyna-VT is a combined assembly (pump, tubes, hoses), not a simple element.
