Engine oil and filter change

Engine · every 600 hours or every year

The handbook gives 600 hours, or every 12 months if the tractor does fewer than 600 hours a year. Below -12 °C or in hard work, change the oil at 300 hours (filter at 600). Fuel with 0.5-1.0% sulphur means 300 hours and 1.0-1.3% means 150 hours. The 4-cylinder engine takes 10 L with the filter.

Hydraulic and transmission oil filters change

Hydraulics · every 600 hours

The handbook changes the hydraulic and transmission filters at the 600-hour service. Which filters you have depends on the pump: some tractors have a suction filter, others a pressure and a charge filter.

PartQtyNotesPart number

Transmission, rear axle and hydraulic oil and filters change

Transmission · every 1,200 hours or every year

The handbook changes the shared oil every 1,200 hours or 12 months, and says change the hydraulic and transmission filters before refilling. The quantity depends on the gearbox and axle: 55 to 65.5 L.

PartQtyNotesPart number

  4. Set inlet to 0.25 ± 0.05 mm and exhaust to 0.51 ± 0.05 mm, then refit the cover.

Tools: Feeler gauges, Spanners, Socket set

Fuel injectors clean and reset

Fuel · every 1,800 hours

The handbook lists injector cleaning and resetting every 1,800 hours. Removing them needs special tools, so the handbook recommends a dealer.

Step-by-step
  1. Book the tractor in with your dealer.
  2. Never check for fuel leaks with your hand: high-pressure diesel can go through skin. Use cardboard and wear gloves and eye protection.

Tools: Dealer or injection specialist

Air conditioning service

Cab · every 3 years

The handbook says have the receiver-drier replaced and the system checked by a dealer every three years or three seasons.

Known problems

4-cylinder only

This entry is for the 4-cylinder T6010 and T6020. The 6-cylinder T6030, T6050 and T6070 take 15 L of engine oil and are in the T6030 entry.

Several hydraulic filter types

The hydraulic filters depend on the pump and gearbox. Look under the right-hand floor and order by serial number.

Mineral brake fluid

The brakes use LHM mineral fluid (NH 610 A). DOT brake fluid will ruin the seals.

Remote oil draw

Do not add more than 20 L above the top mark for remote cylinders, and check the level with rams extended.
