Engine oil and filter change
Engine · every 600 hours or every year
The handbook gives 600 hours, or every 12 months if the tractor does less than 600 hours a year. Below −12 °C or in hard work, change the oil at 300 hours (filter at 600). High-sulphur fuel shortens it further.

Known problems
Which T6030
This entry is for the T6030 Delta, Plus and Elite tractors in the T6010–T6070 handbook. The T6030 Range Command and Power Command tractors are a different build with about 75 L of transmission oil; check that handbook.
Several hydraulic filter types
The hydraulic filters depend on the pump and gearbox. Look under the right-hand floor and order by serial number.
Mineral brake fluid
The brakes use LHM mineral fluid (NH 610 A). DOT brake fluid will ruin the seals.
Remote oil draw
Do not add more than 20 L above the top mark for remote cylinders, and check the level with rams extended.

Repair guides
- Rear axle oil low with remote cylinders, and bleeding new rams (Easy, 30 minutes): Oil disappears from the sight glass when using remote rams, a new or long-unused ram moves jerkily, or the hydraulics get hot and noisy after a long session on remotes.
- Brakes: mineral fluid, pedal latch and handbrake adjustment (Moderate, 1–2 hours): Low brake fluid light, spongy pedals, long pedal travel, the pedal latch will not engage, or the handbrake will not hold.
- Engine won't start or runs rough: fuel filters and bleeding (Moderate, 30–90 minutes): Won't start after running out of fuel or changing filters, starts then stalls, runs rough, or the water-in-fuel light is on.
- Transmission won't drive, shifts badly or shows error codes (Specialist, 30 minutes for the owner checks): Tractor won't drive in any gear, 'P' or 'CP' in the display, jerky shifts or powershifts, poor inching, noisy or hot transmission, low pressure warning.
- Three-point linkage won't lift, drops or responds badly (Moderate, 30–60 minutes): Linkage doesn't move with the lever, won't raise fully, drops slowly, is too slow or too quick to react to draft, external lift buttons don't work, or the status light keeps flashing.
- Starter, flat batteries and charging light (Moderate, 1–2 hours): Nothing works, the starter cranks slowly or not at all, the alternator light stays on with the engine running, or the batteries go flat.
