Suzuki KingQuad 750AXi service schedule

1. Remove the seat and the air cleaner cover.
2. Take out the element and check it for dirt and damage.
3. Replace it if it is dirty or damaged. Wipe out the housing before fitting it.
4. Refit the cover and seat securely.

Tools: Screwdriver, Compressed air (low pressure)

1. Check the brake fluid levels and look for leaks and cracked hoses.
2. Check the front pads for wear and the brakes for proper action.
3. Have the fluid renewed every 2 years and the hoses every 4 years.
4. Have the sealed rear brake plates renewed by your dealer at 10,000 km.

Tools: Torch, Clean rag

1. Clean off rust, old grease and dirt first.
2. Grease these points with water-resistant grease: steering shaft holder, brake lever holder and throttle lever, brake pedal, propeller shaft joint spline, drive shaft joint splines and the drive belt cover bearing inner race.
3. After riding in wet weather, spray exposed parts that rust with a rust preventive.
4. Check the throttle cable play and the fuel line for cracks.
5. Have the fuel line renewed every 4 years.

Tools: Grease gun, Cable lubricant, Rust preventive spray

1. Park on level ground. Warm the engine briefly, stop it and take the key out.
2. Remove the filler cap and drain plug and let the oil drain. Take care: it is hot.
3. Remove the oil filter, oil the new filter's seal lightly and fit it. Tighten it to 20 N·m.
4. Refit the drain plug and tighten it to 21 N·m.
5. Fill with about 2.5 L of 10W-40 JASO MA oil, start the engine for a short while, stop it and check the level. Top up as needed.

Tools: Drain tray (4 L), Socket set, Oil filter wrench, Torque wrench (20–21 N·m), Funnel, Gloves

1. Let the engine cool. Remove the panels to reach the plug and pull off the cap.
2. Remove the plug and check the electrodes.
3. Check the gap is 0.7–0.8 mm and adjust it if needed.
4. Refit it by hand first, then tighten as the handbook says. Fit a new plug every 6,000 km.

Tools: Plug spanner, Wire-type feeler gauge

1. Only check with the engine cold.
2. Follow the service manual to set each cam at the right position.
3. Check the gaps: inlet 0.10–0.20 mm, exhaust 0.20–0.30 mm.
4. If out of limits, have the shims changed by your dealer.

Tools: Feeler gauges, Service manual

1. Let the engine cool and remove the CVT cover as the service manual shows.
2. Check the belt for cracks, glazing, missing cogs and wear.
3. Replace it at the interval or sooner if damaged, and clean dust out of the cover.
4. Refit the cover with a good seal so water cannot get in.

Tools: Socket set, Service manual

1. Let the exhaust cool fully.
2. Remove and clean the spark arrester as the handbook shows.
3. Refit it and check the exhaust pipe nuts and silencer bolts are tight.

Tools: Spanners, Soft brush

1. Park on level ground. Remove the filler cap and drain plug and let it drain.
2. Refit the drain plug with a new gasket and tighten it to 23 N·m.
3. Fill with Mobil Fluid 424 or equivalent until the level reaches the bottom of the filler thread, about 770 ml.
4. Refit the cap and check for leaks.

Tools: Drain tray, Socket set, Torque wrench (23 N·m), Funnel

1. Park on level ground. Remove the filler plug and drain plug and let the oil drain.
2. Refit the drain plug and tighten it to 32 N·m.
3. Fill through the filler hole until oil comes out of the level hole, about 500 ml.
4. Refit the plugs and check for leaks.

Tools: Drain tray, Socket set, Torque wrench (32 N·m), Oil pump or squeeze bottle

1. Only work on a cold engine.
2. Remove the front under cover, put a tray under the water pump and remove the drain plug.
3. Flush with fresh water if needed. Refit the drain plug at 13 N·m.
4. Refill and bleed as the service manual shows, and check the level after a run.
