Valtra T120, T130, T140, T160, T170, T180, T190 service schedule

1. Grease the three-point linkage and towing device nipples.
2. Grease the brake mechanism with high-pressure grease.
3. Front axle mounting nipples (all models) and the steering knuckles of the industrial axle.
4. Agricultural front axle: grease the drive shaft joint nipples.
5. Check the transmission/hydraulic oil level, belt tightness, the fuel prefilter and sediment bowl, battery electrolyte and tyre pressures.

1. Park on level ground, lower any implement or loader to the ground, apply the parking brake, stop the engine, take the key out and chock the wheels.
2. Run the engine briefly to warm the oil, then stop it. Let it stand a few minutes so the oil drains back, but wear gloves because the oil can still be very hot.
3. Remove the sump drain plug and let the oil run into a container, clean the plug and refit it.
4. Unscrew the old oil filter, wipe away any oil that ran onto the chassis, smear a little oil on the new filter's seal and tighten it by hand only.
5. Refill through the filler to the upper mark on the dipstick.
6. Start the engine, check for leaks, stop it, wait a few minutes and recheck the level on the dipstick.
7. Check that the crankcase breather pipe is open and not blocked.

Tools: Drain tray (25 L), Sump plug spanner, Filter wrench, Funnel, Rags and gloves

1. Park on level ground, lower any implement or loader to the ground, apply the parking brake, stop the engine, take the key out and chock the wheels.
2. Clean around the filter housings, remove each housing and element, wash the housing in diesel, oil the new seal and fit the new element.
3. Refit the housings, tighten with a wrench, then run the tractor and check for leaks.

Tools: Container, Torque wrench (about 200 Nm), Diesel for washing housings

1. Grease the door hinges.
2. Brake fluid between the marks.
3. Clean the cab ventilation air filter (more often in dusty work).
4. Check wheel nut tightness and brake pedal free travel.
5. Check the oil level in the front axle differential and hubs.

Tools: Torque wrench, Ruler

1. Park on level ground, lower any implement or loader to the ground, apply the parking brake, stop the engine, take the key out and chock the wheels.
2. Warm the oil, lower the lift, drain from the gearbox and final-drive plugs, then clean and refit the plugs.
3. Clean the suction strainer in diesel.
4. Refill to the dipstick, run the engine and recheck the level; change the transmission housing breather.

Tools: Drain tray (80 L), Spanner, Diesel and compressed air

1. Drain the differential, refit the plug and fill to the level hole.
2. Drain each hub (hole at the bottom), then fill with the hole line horizontal to the level of the hole.

1. Clean around the filters; unscrew by hand only.
2. Remove the old elements into a container (never onto the ground), fill the new ones with fuel and fit them.
3. Bleed the fuel system and check for leaks.

Tools: Container, Rags

1. Take out the main filter, then the safety filter without letting dirt into the inlet.
2. Fit new ones and refit the cover.

Tools: Clean cloth

1. Change the cab ventilation filter and the recirculation filter.

Tools: Screwdriver

1. Set 0.35 mm inlet and exhaust.

Tools: Feeler gauges

1. Give the flywheel ring gear a stroke of moly grease through the clutch-housing hole.
2. Check toe-in; clean the fuel tank; tighten frame nuts and bolts.

Tools: Grease gun, Tape measure

1. Open the expansion tank cap carefully, drain at the radiator and block, close the drains and refill with a correct mix.

Tools: Container (35 L), Hose

1. Drain, refill and bleed the brakes.

1. Book a workshop injector check; ask them to inspect the vibration damper.
